On Christmas Eve, at 4pm, amongst all the busyness of last minute Christmas shopping, we’ll be transforming our church with the help of quite a few straw bales into a stable! With the help of puppets Tim, Flo and Grandpa we’ll hear about an amazing journey some shepherds went on, one Christmas, long ago.
We’ll have a few songs to sing and they’ll be some great things to make, too. They’ll be some fruit juice and shortbread on the way in (parents can even enjoy some mulled fruit punch and a mince pie) and you can find yourself a comfy straw bale to perch your on with your family, whilst we watch the puppets tell the story.
Including the singing and craft, the whole thing will only be about 45 minutes or so, giving you plenty of time to get home for that last minute present wrapping!
Children are welcome to come dressed up as a shepherd, or king, or angel – or anything else – if they want to – to be part of this great story!
Everyone is welcome to join us – it’s totally free and they’ll be no collection or anything like that either.
We look forward to meeting you and your family and sharing some of Christmas with you.
